In spring 2009, the Acute Care MRSA Workgroup of the Fight MRSA Alliance conducted a survey to identify commonalities and differences in environmental cleaning practices across the region’s hospitals. Environmental Services Directors and/or Infection Preventionists from 36 hospitals completed a survey. The results will give hospitals the ability to compare their practices with those of other facilities and make changes, if necessary.
